Tracing the Black Panther Footprint

This South Side Weekly cover for December 1, 2022 consists of a Chicago map, highlighting historical Black Panther Program Sites, as surveyed for historical preservation by the Illinois Chapter of the Black Panther Party. Reporting on their efforts (and hence the cover) were published to coincide with 50th anniversary of BPP Chairman Fred Hampton’s (FBI/CPD) assassination.
